About Me

My photo
trishsingelyn
yarnell, arizona
teacher, artist, student, traveler. I was born in Detroit and raised in a nearby suburb. My 30 year art teaching profession led me from a small independent school in the country, to a large middle class district in the "burbs." My full time career as a teacher turned into a full time artistic career upon early retirement. I moved to Arizona in 2006 seeking the sun and finding a small, unique home built around the boulders. Yes, I have big rocks in my house! I see beauty and endless possibility in all things. This is a deterrent in throwing things away. People are beginning to drop off their discarded goods in my front yard which is becoming a mosaic of massave dimentions. And such great fun to create! Contact me for information on the classes I offer. Commissioned work accepted.
